Let's say you own a company named, Rootle's Computer Repair Shop in Austin, Texas. The people in Austin who are looking for computer repair probably won't be searching for Rootle's.
Which domain is better?

www.austin-computer-repair-shop.com
Go for the second domain! People will be searching for things like Computer Repair in Austin, Computer Repair Shop and Austin Computer Shop. Unless they already know about your company, they won't be looking for Rootle's.
