(c) 2010 - Win Google's Love: Increasing Website Traffic - State Your Company Name on Each Page
Tip 7: State Thy Name
..............................................................................................................
Put the name of your site or company somewhere on every page.
This ties in with the previous tip (Bottom Line). Sometimes visitors will search specifically for your company. Many times, the only place visitors see the name of the company is in a graphic header. That doesn't help you one bit, since Google cannot read the words in a graphic image.
So, be sure the name of your company is on each page someplace. Even if it's just in small letters at the very bottom.
Don't just use the name of your company on its own. Next to your name, you can optimize for specific keywords and phrases.
Example:
Let's pretend I own a company that sells sunglasses. I have some loyal customers who will be searching for my company name. Instead of just allowing it to be in the graphic header, I make sure it's printed in text on the bottom of each page.

You can also place your company name in the title tag (see: title tag tip). If you do include the name of your company in the title tag, I recommend placing it after your keywords.
