Every SEO-conscious Webmaster wants to know what visitors were searching for when they found their site. That's where Google Analytics, a free Webmaster service from Google, comes in handy.

Go to the Google Analytics Website and sign up for an account. They will give you a code to place on the bottom of each page on your site. Whenever you log into your account, you will be treated to information like:

Number of visitors (on the whole site and each page)
Keywords that your visitors searched for to find your site
Where your visitors are from
What Web browser your visitors are using
What pages visitors landed on when they first came into your site.
And lots, lots more

It's free to sign up, so if you don't have an account already, I recommend you get one. It's easy to learn and the information you pull from Google Analytics is invaluable. When you know which keywords are performing best for you, you can add more emphasis and variation to them. When you understand which keywords aren't working for you, you'll know you need to try something new.
